CINCINNATI — Police are looking for the first of two drivers who struck 39-year-old Marquis Colbert when he attempted to cross Colerain Avenue in Northside on Christmas Eve.

The first driver fled the scene, and Colbert died from his injuries, police said in a release.

As Colbert lay in the road at 4406 Colerain, he was struck again by a 15-year-old driver, police said.

Colbert was not in a marked crosswalk when he was struck around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday. He died at UC Medical Center.

Police said they don't have any information about the first vehicle except it was going north on Colerain.

Excessive speed and impairment are not known to be factors at this time, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
