CINCINNATI -- The historic restoration of the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is almost finished and museum officials hope the center will be reopened in November.
Before the reopening though, the whole building is scheduled to be closed from Oct. 22 to Nov. 1. The Duke Energy Children's Museum, "Chocolate: The Exhibition" and "GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked the World," are planned on reopening to the public on Nov. 2.
Museum officials say they hope the rest of the museum will be reopened on Nov. 17, marking the completion of a two-and-a-half-year, $224 million restoration and preservation project.
