ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A bar argument with his girlfriend led to trouble - and jail - for Keith Jones on Saturday.
The 31-year-old started an argument with her at the bar where she worked, kicked out the front-door glass after he got thrown out, and set fire to his apartment, according to court documents.
The argument took place in Latitudes Bar & Bistro in the Anderson Towne Center, according to a sheriff deputy's affidavit. When a male employee escorted Jones to the front door to throw him out, Jones kicked out the glass and fled before law enforcement arrived.
A firefighter's affidavit said Jones admitted he set fire to his apartment on Beechmont Avenue.
The Mount Washington man was arrested Saturday and faces charges of criminal damaging and aggravated arson. He is due in court Monday.
