CINCINNATI – Someone shot a 24-year-old man in Mount Airy Saturday.
The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a vacant building across the street from a church on Kirby Avenue near Colerain Avenue at about 3:24 p.m., police said.
One bullet grazed the victim's head and another went through his shoulder, police said. The injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said they believed the shooting was drug-related.
Lutish Martin said bystanders helped the man.
"When we pulled up, we saw a guy lying on the ground" Martin said. "His face was covered in blood and a young lady was ... trying to help him.
Police were searching for a suspected shooter who was wearing all black and left the scene in a car. They asked that anyone with information call them or Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
