Double stabbing Sunday night in Mt. Airy leaves one person dead

CINCINNATI — Two people were stabbed Sunday night in Mt. Airy, leaving one person dead, according to police.

Officers from the Cincinnati Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Kipling Avenue Sunday around 8:50 p.m. to investigate a stabbing. When they arrived on scene, officers found two victims.

One of the victims, 48-year-old Renee Kuhn, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not say the extent of the injuries of the second victim, but did write in a release, "There will be no further information released on the surviving victim."

There is also no information about whether or not police arrested someone or are looking for a suspect at this time.

The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating the stabbing, and police ask anyone with information on it to call (513) 352-3542.
