CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police arrested and charged a man in connection with the murder of another man in a Madisonville home on Friday.
Officers responded to a report of a deceased man at a home on the 4500 block of Plainville Road and found George Cowherd, 61, unresponsive.
Cowherd was pronounced dead at the scene, and court documents say he died of "blunt force trauma."
Late on Friday night, police arrested Louis Jefferson Jr., 22 of Madisonville, and charged him with murder.
Jefferson is currently being held in Hamilton County Jail.
The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
