Traffic camera video captured the moment a car and a Metro bus collided the morning of Oct. 5, sending the small red Chevy Malibu spinning across Montgomery Road minus its front bumper.
The Chevy, which had drifted over the center line, sat smoking in the road after the crash. Inside the Malibu was 36-year-old driver Brandon Keese, 32-year-old Dionysus Bronaugh and two children. Everyone in the car was hospitalized with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening. according to police
The bus driver and seven passengers on the bus were also hospitalized with minor injuries. In the recording released by police, the bus pulls to the side of the road and parks while pedestrians begin attempting to direct traffic around the scene of the collision.
Police have not announced any charges connected to the crash.
