One person dead in Evanston shooting Friday night

CINCINNATI — One man was shot and killed Friday night in Evanston, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

Officers were called to the 3100 block of Durrell Avenue around 9:30 p.m. for a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found 25-year-old David Lynn Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. Lynn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also said a second person was found shot near the gas station at 2967 Gilbert Ave., but it is unclear if the two shootings are related at this time.

No suspect information has been released, and both shootings are under investigation.
