CINCINNATI — A two-alarm fire tore through a house in Evanston Thursday morning, but officials said no one was hurt in the blaze.
The Cincinnati Fire Department said firefighters were called to 3112 Durrell Ave. around 12:30 a.m. Thursday for a fire on the porch of a house under renovation. When crews arrived, the fire had spread to inside the three-story vacant house.
According to officials, lack of access to some parts of the house and the heavy flames caused fire crews to withdraw from the building. A second-alarm was then called. With the help of other fire crews, the fire was put out without any injuries.
There is no word on what caused the fire, and the Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit are investigating.
