A team of Ohio U.S. Marshals traveled to New York Thursday to arrest Alize Key, a 22-year-old man accused of killing a 17-month-old baby in English Woods.
Key was arrested Thursday afternoon in Rochester, New York, by a team including U.S. Marshals and Cincinnati Police Department investigators. He stands charged with murder.
The child, Nahmir Jacobs, was discovered injured and unresponsive July 13. First responders took him to Children’s Hospital, where he died that day.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office would rule the death a homicide two days later.
The investigation into Jacobs’ death was still ongoing at the time of Key’s arrest, according to police. Anyone with information should call investigators at 513-352-3542.
