CINCINNATI – Two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on crash that closed Columbia Parkway for several hours Friday morning, according to Cincinnati police.
Fernando Gomez, 40, drove left of center and hit Samuel Bakes, 22, in the 3800 block around 5:20 a.m., police said.
Gomez was listed in critical condition; Bakes was in serious condition. Both men were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Excessive speed and impairment do not appear to be factors, police said.
Witnesses are asked to call the Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
