CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police arrested 22-year-old Jermaine Champion Saturday in connection with a downtown shooting that left one man dead and another person injured.
On November 29, Cincinnati police responded to the 900 block of Race Street for multiple reports of a shooting near The Chalet Bar around midnight.
According to officials, police could not find any shooting victims at the scene; later in the evening, police found that two people with gunshot wounds arrived at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in a private vehicle.
The first victim, 25-year-old Desmond Watson, was pronounced dead on arrival. The other victim, whom Cincinnati Police have not named, survived.
