CINCINNATI — A man was shot and killed Sunday night Downtown, according to the police.
The Cincinnati Police Department responded to the 300 block of West Fifth Street around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found 33-year-old Cortney Jones suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders said Jones died at the scene.
According to police, Jones's shooter fled going north on Central Avenue.
The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is still investigating this incident.
