CINCINNATI -- Palomino served its last meal Sunday, and now everything in the restaurant is up for auction.

The public can walk through the Downtown staple one last time until noon Tuesday, and items will be up for auction online until 7 p.m.

Palomino’s event manager, Taylor Beach, said a “leasing issue” caused the restaurant to close its doors after 20 years.

"Palomino has been established in this city for 20 years and has been a staple Downtown ever since," Beach said. "Not many restaurants can say that in our little-big city. I think it’s an accomplishment to say we've been here for 20 years."

William Hesch Jr., project manager for Worley Auctioneers, said many of the restaurant’s items “will go for next to nothing.”

"We love auctioning landmarks, and from its beginnings 20 years ago, Palomino's became a bellwether of Downtown development, so it's sad to see it go,” Hesch said.
