CINCINNATI — Three people were shot near the University of Cincinnati on West McMillan Street early Monday morning, according to police.
Police said a 16-year-old, 17-year-old and a man in his early 20s were shot near the Mr. Tuxedo store after midnight Monday. The shooting triggered the Shotspotter system and alerted other officers nearby.
When officers arrived on scene, they found three people with gunshot wounds. First responders transported all three victims to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police said all three have non-life threatening injuries.
There is no word on what led up to the shooting or if there are any suspects or people in custody at this time.
