CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police said a SWAT situation near Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati's CUF neighborhood has ended peacefully. A 27-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene.
Officers used "flash bang" and robot techniques to draw out the suspect, according to a Cincinnati police spokesperson.
Dixmyth Avenue was closed at Martin Luther King Blvd. around 8:30 Friday morning. The road has been reopened.
The SWAT situation in District 5 has been peacefully resolved. The suspect is in custody. We appreciate the patience of the public this morning, all roads that were closed are now re-open.
