CINCINNATI — Authorities are investigating a shooting involving a 7-year-old girl on Cloister Drive in the CUF neighborhood Friday night.
Cincinnati police on the scene said shots were fired into the residence, but it is unknown at this time if the house was targeted, or the shooting was random.
There were multiple residents inside the house, but only the 7-year-old was struck. Authorities said she is alert and awaiting surgery at Children's Hospital. The seriousness of her condition is unknown at this time.
Police said there were no suspects at this time.
