CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Police have identified a body found on fire in an East End park on Saturday as 26-year-old Jemarco Benton.
The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit was initially called to the area of 200 Waston Street near the Schmidt Boat Ramp and Ballfields in East End Saturday morning, for reports of a body found on fire, officials said.
Swingley said the call came in around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The body was found burning in the woods near that area, police said.
Cincinnati Police have ruled the death a homicide, but have not yet released any suspect information. The investigation is still ongoing.
