CINCINNATI – Parents and children held candles, stood in a prayer circle, sang and remembered a 10-year-old killed in a car crash with two family members in Brown County Wednesday.

Cameron Moler was a beloved classmate and friend.

"I just needed to come out and show my support for the family. We all feel what we're dealing with right now," said Latoya Coffey.

"It feels good to have so many people here together," said Tonia Elrod.

To Coffey and her son, Cameron was also a favorite neighbor.

"This child has been in my house. We played basketball together in the backyard,” Coffey said, “and so I really was just shocked and I know our kids were just shocked as well."

Cameron was in a car that struck a tree on Bethel New Hope Road in Brown County. All were pronounced dead on scene.

In the midst of the holiday season, the people gathered here hoped to give the gift of light during a family's darkest hour.
