CINCINNATI -- Children in Cincinnati will be able to get free breakfast and lunch this summer, thanks to Cincinnati Public Schools and the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.
Schools, recreation centers and other locations will host the program for children 18 and younger and anyone up to 21 determined by a state or local public education agency to have a mental or physical disability, the district announced Wednesday.
The free meals will be available now until Aug. 4, except for July 4.
To receive a free meal, the children need to come to the serving site 15 minutes before serving time. The meals must be eaten there.
