CINCINNATI – Country singer and songwriter Chris Stapleton has postponed the next three weeks of his national tour, including a June 16 sold-out appearance at the Riverbend Music Center.
Stapleton will perform in Cincinnati on Sept. 8 instead. If any ticket holders are unable to attend the rescheduled dates, refunds will be available at point of purchase.
Support acts for the newly rescheduled dates are to be announced at a later date.
In a statement posted to his website Wednesday, Stapleton's team released a statement that read “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Hold on to your tickets for now, and stay tuned for updates.”
According to his website, the following shows have been postponed:
June 1 – Fresno, CA – Save Mart Center
June 2 – Mt. View, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre
June 3 – Wheatland, CA – Toyota Amphitheatre
June 9 – Southaven, MS – Bankplus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
June 10 – Birmingham, AL – Oak Mountain Amphitheatre
June 15 – Charleston, WV – Charleston Civic Center
June 17 – Noblesville, IN – Klipsch Music Center
Stapleton was also scheduled to perform at the CMA Musical Festival on June 11 but has now canceled that appearance, according to his website.
According to a Rolling Stone article, Stapleton’s rep declined to provide additional information at this time.
