CINCINNATI -- The Duke Energy Children's Museum is closed now through spring 2018 while the Museum Center undergoes heavy construction and renovation.
The Children's Museum is now "an active construction zone," according to a news release from the Museum Center.
"It has been our intention to keep the Duke Energy Children's Museum open as much as possible through the restoration of Union Terminal," Elizabeth Pierce said in the news release. "However, this construction activity is more extensive than anticipated and disrupts public access to these spaces."
The Holiday Junction will not be affected and opens Friday as planned, the news release said.
The Museum Center's renovation is slated for completion in spring 2018.
