CINCINNATI — A 13-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle at a Bond Hill intersection and sustained minor injuries Friday morning, according to Cincinnati police.

Cincinnati police said the incident happened at approximately 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of Reading Road and East Seymour Avenue.

Police said the teen "disregarded the traffic signal entering the crosswalk" and was struck by the vehicle turning on Reading Road from westbound Seymour Avenue.

The teen was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to treat a minor head injury.

The driver is cooperating with the investigation.

Between May and December 2018, 13 Cincinnati Public Schools students were hit by drivers as they walked to or from school. Last month, police said a driver struck a student in a crosswalk near Western Hills University High School.
