CINCINNATI - The Hamilton County Coroner’s office is seeking help in identifying a woman found dead outside an Avondale apartment complex last May 31.
Cincinnati police suspected foul play since the Criminal Investigations Section was called to the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue that day to investigate.
The woman is believed to be 35 to 60 years old and 5 feet, 5 inches to 5-8. She had shoulder length, light brown hair with some graying, according to a news release from the coroner’s office.
She is most likely Caucasian, but could also be considered biracial.
The woman was wearing gray, silky pajama bottoms and a gray tank top. The name “Schrader” is written in permanent marker on the tag inside the pajama bottoms. A white metal hair stylist-type hair clip was in her hair.
Pastor Ennis Tait said it's troubling that the woman still hasn't been identified.
"We've been working with the police department to really try to help engage the community. I know there's some trust issues, but trying to work through those," Tait said
If you have any information regarding her identity, you are asked to call Cincinnati Police Homicide at 513-352-3542 or Hamilton County Coroner Investigator Daryl Zornes or Don Jasper at 513-946-8700.
