CINCINNATI -- If you're among the "near cult-like following" who loves Tiger Dumpling and its chicken, pork and vegetarian dumplings, you'll soon have another option to get your Asian fusion fix.

Tiger Dumpling, which launched in 2015 near the University of Cincinnati, is partnering with Kroger to open a food cart at the Oakley Kroger Marketplace by the end of October. They also plan to add a location at the Harper's Point Kroger on Montgomery Road.

“This is an incredible opportunity for Tiger Dumpling,” said concept creator Hunter Hebert in a news release. “We are honored to have the support of such an innovative retailer as Kroger, and look forward to a long and successful partnership that will enable us to bring Tiger Dumpling’s delicious menu to new audiences.”

Tiger Dumpling shut down its restaurant on Calhoun Street this spring to begin building a 1,400-square-foot flagship restaurant at The Banks development in downtown Cincinnati. Its location at The Banks will open this fall. Herbert said the new space will allow Tiger Dumpling to better serve its customer base and introduce the concept to first-time diners in the busy entertainment district.
