CINCINNATI — A 79-year-old Cincinnati man was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years in prison and supervised release for the rest of his life for taking sexually explicit photos of a toddler.
The crime is believed to have occurred in 2014 or 2015, when the child was under 3 years old.
Court documents in the case said Winkelbach had been searching for, downloading and trading child pornography for years, and had thousands of images stored on his digital media devices by at the time of his 2019 arrest.
Winkelbach pleaded guilty to the charges in July 2020.
