CINCINNATI -- Two women were seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening when 23-year-old Tatiana Watkins lost control and ran into the center portion of a train bridge pillar in Camp Washington.

Around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Cincinnati Police arrived on scene at 3600 Spring Grove Ave., where they say Watkins, of Hamilton, drove a 2011 Caliber into the concrete bridge pier while heading north.

Watkins was taken to the UC Medical Center along with her passenger, Fadila Afi Sigmon. Both are listed in serious condition.

Neither Watkins nor Sigmon was wearing their seatbelts, and police say impairment appears to have been a factor in the crash.

The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
