BLUE ASH, Ohio — A fatal crash in Blue Ash Tuesday morning may have been caused by high speed after a medical emergency, according to police.
The Blue Ash Police Department said a man in his forties was killed after his vehicle struck another vehicle on Pfeiffer Road near Interstate 71 Tuesday around 6:15 a.m.
The police's preliminary investigation points to speeding as the cause of the crash, but they also said the speeding may have been brought on by a medical emergency of some kind. Police don't think alcohol or drugs were a factor in this crash.
