Matthew 25: Ministries sends disaster response team to help California wildfire victims

Posted

BLUE ASH, Ohio -- Matthew 25: Ministries has had a busy year sending humanitarian aid and disaster relief around the country, and on Wednesday they're heading to California.

Devastating wildfires have ravaged wine country north of San Francisco, so the Cincinnati-based aid organization is sending its domestic disaster response team west on Wednesday to distribute supplies and offer laundry services to wildfire victims. The team will also assess needs and meet with partners to lay the groundwork for future shipments of aid.

The first truck of aid supplies will load up on Thursday and deliver personal care items, first aid supplies, paper products and diapers by Oct. 23.

Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and internet donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs. More than 99 percent of Matthew 25: Ministries’ cash and in-kind donations go toward programs.

Matthew 25 also welcomes volunteers six days a week at their Blue Ash facility. For the most up-to-date information about Matthew 25: Ministries’ humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts please contact Joodi Archer at (513) 793-6256 or visit the website here.
