ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A car struck a 13-year-old in Anderson Township Monday night.
The juvenile was running across Eight Mile Road not in a crosswalk at about 8:10 p.m. when a 64-year-old driver in a 2009 Cadillac sedan struck the teen, according to Hamilton County deputies.
The teen sustained serious injuries and was driven to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, according to deputies.
Neither speed nor alcohol was considered a factor in the crash.
Deputies didn't say if the teen was out for Halloween, but Anderson Township's official trick-or-treating hours ended at 8 p.m.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit was still investigating the crash.
