Gov. DeWine, First Lady exposed to COVID-19

COLUMBUS — Gov. Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine were exposed to COVID-19 by two staff members who recently tested positive for the virus.

The governor's office made the announcement Wednesday morning.

Both will not attend in-person events through Sunday.

In a news release, the governor's office said both DeWines are fully vaccinated and received their boosters. They also tested negative for COVID and currently have no symptoms. They will continue to be tested daily for COVID.
