CINCINNATI — A Fifth Third Bank network problem Friday morning temporarily left customers without access to online accounts or support.
The bank said on Twitter it was experiencing technical issues with its online services.
“We are working as quickly as possible to restore service for our affected customers, and we apologize for the inconvenience," the bank wrote Friday afternoon.

By 2 p.m., customers had taken to social media, saying their cards had been declined and they were unable to log into accounts.
By 4, spokeswoman Laura Trujillo said the bank was slowly restoring service.
