If you're like me, you get most of your news on your smartphone.
In fact, a growing number of Americans turn to their phones more for news than anywhere else.
For WCPO, our mobile usage runs neck-and-neck with our regular website traffic.
We have incorporated feedback from our users and built a new and better WCPO app that launched Wednesday. Go to the Apple store or Google Play to download the new app. Or simply update your existing WCPO app if you have already downloaded the old app.
You will see a more streamlined, more visual top stories area. We have more ability to focus a news report designed specifically for people accessing the news on their mobile phone.
We also have a more robust, easier-to-use weather section.
Finally, WCPO Insiders will receive an even better experience.
Insiders can quickly access Rewards in the top right of the news page (check the Rewards section now for a chance to win tickets to an advanced screening of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice).
If you are logged in as an Insider on the app, you will also get an ad-free experience.
We think our new app is better than ever. But we want to continue to receive your feedback. Email me at mike.canan@wcpo.com with any comments or questions about our new app.
Most of all, thanks for reading.
