CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting Thursday morning on the Western Hills Viaduct.

Police said the victim is a 26-year-old man that was immediately taken into surgery after the shooting and is in critical condition.

A WCPO 9 News crew on scene could see a small white car just off the side of McMillan street with several bullet holes in the passenger side of the vehicle.

Just after 6 a.m. police said shot spotter alerted them to the shooting on the Western Hills Viaduct.

The westbound lanes of the Western Hills Viaduct were closed for about two hours and reopened just after 8:15 a.m.
