UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- School officials closed West Clermont High School at about 7 a.m. Monday because of a possible gas leak, a dispatcher said.
Duke Energy workers were at the school at about 7:50 a.m. to check the gas lines.
Attention all WCHS parents and students - High School only will be closed today. We have a smell of gas on the third floor and at this time safety is our number one priority.

WCHS UPDATE: The building has been checked by the fire department and the gas company will be doing an extensive check today. We will give updates about after school activities later in the day. Thank you for your cooperation.
