UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The 14-year-old boy involved in a crash while riding his bicycle Friday was an honor student and baritone player in the Kings Marching Band.
The district posted to its website that Benjamin Murray, of Batavia, was “smart, funny, wise, and kind and inclusive to everyone.”
Murray died Saturday at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to a report from the Hamilton County Coroner's Office.
“The Kings Local School District sends our deepest sympathy to his family and friends,” the district posted online.

A Friday evening crash between Murray and the driver of a pickup on Tealtown Road left the young bicyclist with severe injuries, according to Union Township police. Police have not said whether anyone will face charges.
A visitation for the teen will take place from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. His funeral will be held Thursday.
