CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A region-wide, month-long search for a registered sex offender and rape suspect ended Monday.
Deputies said David Duane Ford was caught hiding in a hay loft at the former Cahill Racing Stables outside Crittenden in Grant County, Kentucky, and also said that he gave up without a struggle.
Ford was wanted on one count of felony rape in Clermont County following an incident in October.
But Ford might face additional charges, as well. Investigators are also looking into allegations of kidnapping, felonious assault and burglary stemming from that same incident.
Ford was extradited to the Clermont County Jail Monday.
