PLEASANT PLAIN, Ohio -- A boy reported missing in a lake turned up safe Friday evening.
Water rescue teams searched Friday evening for the 7-year-old in Stonelick State Park, according to Clermont County dispatchers.
The child went missing around 5 p.m., according to authorities. Teams searched Stonelick Lake, a 161-acre body of water that spans much of the park.
It turned out the boy went to find his mother and she left with him, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
