One dead, one injured in Tuesday evening Clermont County crash

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — One person is dead and another person is injured after a crash in Clermont County Tuesday evening, according to police.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of State Route 756 and State Route 743 in Washington Township.

Troopers said Dakota Hulbert, 27, was driving southeast on SR-756 when he came to the intersection of SR-756 and SR-743. At the same time, Bryan Brock, 32, was traveling southwest on SR-743. When Hulbert drove into the intersection, Brock struck Hulbert.

First responders said Hulbert had serious injuries from the crash, and they transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. However, Hulbert was pronounced dead at the hospital.

First responders also transported a passenger in Hulbert's vehicle named Robert Brewer II to UCMC for serious injuries from the crash.

Brock was not injured in the crash, according to troopers.

The highway patrol is still investigating the crash, and they have not said what may have led up to the crash.
