MILFORD, Ohio — Milford High School students and staff will move to a remote learning model starting Tuesday, due to a large number of students who have tested positive for COVID-19 according to the district.
The district said in a post on Facebook that students have been coming to classes despite not feeling well, before testing positive for the virus.
Students will learn from home until at least February, the district said. The move only applies to the high school and not the entire district, since cases are not originating from inside the school but rather from activities outside school, the district said.
There is no plan to cancel athletics and extracurricular activities currently in progress, but out-of-season activities will be postponed for two weeks, the post stated.
