GOSHEN TOWNSHIP — Goshen Township police arrested four men in connection with a July 13 assault and robbery in a home on Belfast Road.

A key clue: a cup of ice left at the scene.

On July 13, a woman came home to find four men stealing items out of her detached garage. The suspects assaulted her, knocked her unconscious and stole her cell phone before fleeing in a pickup truck, police said. She went to a neighbor’s house to call 911 and was later treated for her injuries.

Investigators recovered an unlabeled cup of ice left at the scene by the suspects. A detective recognized the type of ice from a nearby gas station. After reviewing gas station security footage, police were able to track down the suspects.

Police arrested Aaron P. Larson, 39 of Goshen, and indicted him for breaking and entering, robbery and disrupting public services.

Police also arrested Joseph N. Snider, 37 of Milford, Jeffrey A. Combs, 49 of Goshen, and Erin Pappas, 38 of Goshen, and were indicted for breaking and entering, complicity to robbery and complicity to disrupting public services.
