BATAVIA, Ohio -- A man rammed a rogue airplane with an SUV in order to stop the aircraft after its pilot was injured while starting it up Thursday.
A pilot had just started the single-prop plane by manually rotating the propellor, but the plane started to get away from him, according to officers who responded to the incident at Clermont County Airport. The pilot attempted to get back inside the plane and was injured in the process.
Another person then rammed the plane with his SUV to get it under control, officers said.
The pilot was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment if minor injuries.
