WALTON, Ky. - An Ohio driver died Thursday as a result of a single-car crash and fire along Interstate 75, according to Kenton County police.
A car driven by 51–year-old David Harris Jr., of Reynoldsburg, ran off the northbound lanes, struck an abutment and caught fire, police said in a release.
The accident happened about 9:50 p.m. between Crittenden and Walton at mile marker 168.7.
Harris was trapped in the car and had to be extricated. He was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
