NEWPORT, Ky. -- A world record might be set on the Purple People Bridge next month.
Hundreds of people will try to break the record for the world’s largest barre class at Cincinnati’s third annual Barre on the Bridge on Saturday, June 30. About 1,000 people attended last year’s event, and this year’s class is expected to be even larger.
Five local Pure Barre studios will host three classes at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Pure Barre studio owners from Oakley, Kenwood, Mason, Fort Wright and West Side created Barre on the Bridge to promote a fun way to stay fit.
