COLD SPRING, Ky. — Central Campbell Fire District officials announced that Engineer Whitney Craig passed away in Hebron late Sunday night.
“Words cannot express how it sad it makes us to have to announce this terrible news. Whitney was a wonderful young lady and we miss her already,” the fire district wrote in a statement Monday.
Craig started with the Ludlow Fire Department in 2011 and was hired as a firefighter-paramedic with the Central Campbell Fire District in 2015. She was also a mother to two boys.
Funeral arrangements will follow soon, fire officials said.
