WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A school bus driver was hospitalized Tuesday after a damaged tree hit the bus' front hood and shattered its windshield.
Two children were on board the Lakota Schools bus at the time, according to a township spokesperson. Neither child was injured.
The driver suffered minor injuries from broken glass and was driven to West Chester Hospital for treatment.
Maud Hughes Road was closed at Cin-Day Road as crews worked to clear the tree out of the road. The road has reopened.
