BUTLER COUNTY — Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones announced Tuesday they are charging a man with "one of the worst cases of child pornography investigated by this agency."

According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, Trevor Fraley, a Middletown resident, will be charged with two counts of illegal use of a minor or an impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony.

According to court documents, officers arrested Fraley on unrelated charges and, when executing a search warrant connected to the arrest, found a bag at Fraley's Middletown address with an HP computer inside. Court documents state that a forensic investigation of the computer revealed " files containing nudity-oriented material or performance" on the computer.

Sheriff Jones said during a press conference Tuesday afternoon that Fraley had hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pictures and video including minors as young as 8 months old. Jones said it's not clear if the children in the images are local, or if Fraley made the content himself or was only distributing it.

"You can't imagine what I've seen," said Jones. "For anybody that would be involved in this, who would want to watch this, who would want to download this and think that this is normal? I've never seen anything like this, never."

Jones also said when Fraley was arrested, three children were present in his home. According to Jones, those children are now in protective custody.

According to court documents, Fraley will be arraigned Wednesday morning in Middletown.
