WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Police say one man was killed and another was injured in a shooting at a West Chester Township apartment complex Friday afternoon.
Officers responded for a report of a shooting at an apartment along the 6900 block of Lakeside Drive that occurred at 3:50 p.m.
When they arrived, they found one man dead at the scene. Investigators would later identify him as 25-year-old West Chester resident Jesse K. Baubeng.
Another man was found shot in the foot and taken to West Chester Hospital.
"At this time, West Chester Police are not looking for suspects and have no reason to believe there is a threat to the community," said Barbara Wilson, West Chester Township's director of public information.
