MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Police investigating reports of possible dog fighting at a Finley Street home say six dogs were removed from the house, and the owner is facing several charges.
Middletown officers responded to the home on Aug. 9, according to city officials. There they found six dogs; four dogs were in a kennel, one was tied to the back porch and one was injured in the backyard, officials said.
The animals were removed from the home by a third party within two days and police sent the case to the Middletown prosecutor’s office.
Earlier this week, Tamara L. Osmon was ordered to court to face six counts of failure to register dogs, four counts of improper confinement enclosures and one count improper confinement chaining/tethering.
Osmon is expected in court on Wednesday.
