MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – A 24-year-old man was killed when his speeding motorcycle crashed on Pershing Avenue Friday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Brandon Steward of Middletown lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway near Morgan Street at about 4:16 p.m., according to a news release. He was thrown from his motorcycle when it overturned. Speed is believed to have played a factor in this crash, according to the Highway Patrol.
Steward was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
